Youth Sports Report: Pitch Hit and Run winners

Wesley Cross was the overall champion of the 13-14-year-old division of the Pitch, Hit and Run Competition hosted by the Nevada City Little League on April 29.

Cross was also the pitching champion, Dylan Hadley won the hitting contest, and Daniel Charvoz was the running champion.

In the 11-12 division, Scott Quinday won the hitting and shared the pitching crown with Bert Heinzelman to be named overall champion. Alex Charvoz was the best runner.



Dylan Conger was the overall and pitching champion in the 9-10 division, Jordan Jiannino won hitting, and Garrett O’Callaghan won running.

In the 7-8 division Andrew Sasaki became the overall champion by earning a share of the pitching title with Aaron Fry, Greg Arnolidi, Dylan Feise and James Herlitz. Fry was the hitting winner, and Greg Arnoldi took first place in the running event.




The winners advance to the section tournament on May 21 in Lincoln.
