The Nevada Union boys volleyball team defeated Elk Grove Tuesday night, winning games 25-15, 25-15, 25-22.

“They had a good game,” said NU coach Kelly Rhoden. “They played really well.”

Graham Davis scored nine kills for NU and Vince Cancilla added six. Cody Curtis had 14 service points and two aces.



Coach Rhoden also had praise for Russell Davidson.

“He had a great all-around game,” said Rhoden.




The Miners play in the Chico Tournament this Saturday, April 2.
