Basketball camp slated

for incoming NU frosh

Starting Monday, Nevada Union’s boys basketball program will conduct a camp for incoming freshmen interested in playing high-school basketball.

The camp, which focuses on teaching essential individual and team basketball skills, will run Mondays from 6:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m. and Fridays from 5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. at Park Avenue Alternative school. The camp runs until Memorial Day weekend.

The fee is $75.

Civil War Series debut postponed

The California Sprint Car Civil War Series season debut at Marysville Raceway Park has been postponed indefinitely due to weather concerns.
