Rain brought a halt to Thursday’s action of the Sierra Foothill League’s doubles tournament at Johnson Ranch in Roseville.

According to Nevada Union tennis coach Mike Blake, the No. 2-seeded team of Brittanie Miller and Kayla Allen are currently tied 4-4 in the third set, after splitting the first two. Play will resume today, weather permitting.

Allen and Miller, who won in the first round, earned All-SFL first-team honors.

NU’s team of Emily Ramsey and Ariane Turner, which fell in the first round of the double tournament, was named to the second team All-SFL.
