The Nevada Union boys soccer team got goals from four players Friday in its’ 4-1 defeat of host North Lake Tahoe.

Garrett Perez opened the scoring for the Miners with an unassisted goal just shy of halftime.

Conner Smith converted a penalty kick, then Evan Helman and Anderson Olive added goals of their own to go up 4-0 late in the second half.

“All in all, this was probably our best passing game of the season,” NU head coach Mike Voss said.
