Roenicke, Las Vegas 51s take to Raley Field tonight

Former Nevada Union standout Josh Roenicke and his fellow Las Vegas 51s will take to Raley Field – the home of the Sacramento River Cats – for a final time this season at 7:05 p.m. today.

Roenicke threw one inning of action on the mound in Las Vegas’ 4-2 win over Sacramento. He allowed two earned runs on four hits, including a home run.

On the season at the Triple A level, Roenicke owns an 8-1 record with 3.70 ERA, 54 strikeouts and 25 walks.



The Las Vegas 51s close out the season over the weekend with a four-game series in Portland.
