Rising Starz Gymnastics

Katherine Magill, Jenna Jeffery and Peyton White of Rising Starz Gymnastics returned home with an all-around gold medals from the Winter Classic last weekend in Park City, Utah.

In the level 7 10-and-under age group, Magill placed first in the all-around with a 37.075. She posted a 9.1 score on vault for second-place, 9.4 on bars for first-place, 9.05 on beam for second-place and and 9.525 for first-place on floor.

In the 11- and 12-year-old age group, Jeffrey placed first in the all-around with a 37.025. She posted a 9.0 on vault, 9.2 on bars for second-place, 9.325 on beam for first-place and 9.5 on floor for first-place.



White, the only level 4 athlete who competed for the Rising Starz girls team at the meet, won the all-around with a score of 35.00.

The all-around scores by Magill and Jeffery were the top two in the entire meet, for all ages. White’s score was the fourth best.




In the level 6 session, Demi Seghezzi captured first-place on the beam with a score of 9.025, to go with her second-place on vault with an 8.925 and third in the all-around.

Alayna Grapel placed second on floor with a 9.4 and seventh in the all-around in the level 7 10-and-under age group.

As a team, the Rising Starz level 7 athletes captured second-place.
