Rio downs Miners on the links

Pat Jorgenson fired an even-par 36 to take medalist honors as the Nevada Union boys golf team dropped a 199-205 decision to host Rio Americano of Sacramento at Ancil Hoffman G.C.

Spencer Westcott, Erik Flores and Ben McNulty each carded 41s in a three-way tie for fourth place.

NU (2-4 Capital Athletic League) will host Rio Americano at the Alta Sierra C.C. 3:30 p.m. today
