The Nevada Union girls alpine ski team came up just four points short of first place Davis and had to settle for second at a slalom event Monday at Northstar.

Sarah Brennan led the Lady Miners with a second place finish individually, coming in with a two-race combined time of 1:33.49. Brennan’s teammate Zoe Cohen was right behind her in third place (1:36.19). NU’s Tera Arenchild finished in 12th (1:53.09) and Quinn Heppe was 13th (1:53.39).
