Prep Roundup: NU x-country teams take fourth place at Half Moon Bay races

Both Nevada Union boys’ and girls’ cross country teams took fourth place Saturday at the Artichoke Invitational at Half Moon Bay.

The boys were led by Simon Lambert who finished in eighth place clocking in at 12:15 on the 2 1/3-mile course. He was followed by Thomas McAtee (19), Dominic Castro-Wehr (33), Sam Asher (36), Parker Scanlon (48), Joey Rodriguez (60) and Keal Newton (61)

Lauren Arnett finished tops for the NU girls in 12th place with a time of 15:04. She was followed by Sara Marshall (22), Rachel Brink (23), Jessica Boutte (36), Holly Vorbril (53), Peggy McBride-Henslee (54) and Annie Creasey (87).

The boys’ and girls’ teams will be home for their second league meet 4 p.m. Wednesday.
