Our school hot shots – Stephanie Herron

Stephanie Herron , along with Rising Starz Gymnastics Academy teammates Elise Mack, Jeannie Bailey and Haley Dean, each qualified for the Nor Cal Championships to be held over the next week.

Herron, who competes at Level 6 in the 10-11 age group, took first in the all-around with a score of 32.2 points.

In Level 5, Mack won the all around in the 12-year-old age group with a 34.5. Bailey finished with a 32.9 to win the 11-year-old age group.



Dean finished third in the 10-year-old age group’s all around with a 33.225.

RSGAS’s Dominique Leatherman took third in the 9-year-old age group with a combined score of 31.5. Katie Montre totaled 31.45 to finish fourth in the 10-Year-old age group.




In the 12-year-old age group, RSGA Krista McCauley took third with a 31.4 and Zoe Solano-Strutz was right behind in fourth with a 31.35.

Candice Conklin (32.21) and Jessie Olson (32.05), who each compete for Stellar Gymnastics, took seventh and ninth respectively.
