Our school hot shots – Kayla Smith

Bear River’s Kayla Smith came off the bench for the best game of her varsity career Dec. 21.

The 5-foot, 11-inch junior center scored a career-best 10 points in the Lady Bruins’ 77-36 win over Sonora in the first round of the Lady Eagles Invitational at Del Oro High School in Loomis.

Smith is fifth on the team in scoring at 5.2 points per game.
