Forest Lake Christian’s Kyle Smith did it again. The senior midfielder on the boys soccer team notched his fourth hat trick of the season in FLC’s 9-2 home field win over Wilton Christian Oct.18. Smith, a co-captain, also tallied a match-high three assists in the win.

Bear River quarterback Josh Rumsey threw for a career-high 178 yards and a touchdown in the Bruins1 38-14 homecoming win over Johnson West of Sacramento Oct. 18.

The 5-foot, 11-inch, 155 pound junior, who completed 10-of 19 passes during the night, has totaled 768 yards in six starts to remain third in total yards among Pioneer Valley League passers.



Nevada Union place kicker Kyle McTighe showed off his golden right foot in the Miner football team1s 71-0 homecoming win over C.K. McClatchy of Sacramento Oct. 18.

The senior, also a starter on the Miner boys soccer team, hit eight out of 10 PATs as well as a 37-yard field goal in the win.




But wait, there1s more. He also came inches away from a huge kick when his 55-yard field goal attempt hit the crossbar.

3We think he can hit them from 60 yards. He1s an amazing talent,² NU head football coach Dave Humphers said.

Nevada Union1s Joe Dolan staked his claim as the Metro Conference1s top receiver with his performance in the Miners1 71-0 homecoming win over C.K. McClatchy Oct. 18.

The senior caught four passes for 49 yards to up his season total to a league-best 515 yards. He also caught two touchdown passes to raise his total to five on the year.
