The Nevada Union Miners alpine ski team competed in the California-Nevada Interscholastic Ski and Snowboard Federation (CNISF) State Championships at Northstar Ski Resort Monday and Tuesday. The Miners ski team fought hard against bigger schools and finished in fourth place.
The Miners had eight competitors qualify this year and three athletes placed in the top ten. Evi Barber finished in the top ten; she finished in 6th place on both days and finished 4th All-State.
