Pistols finish season

on strong note

The Pacific Pistols seventh grade girls AAU basketball team finished a great season with three season-ending tournaments. On April 19-20, the girls competed in the Santa Cruz Tournament and lost a double overtime heart breaker by one point to the eventual tournament champion Stockton Mustangs, finished the tournament 3-1. On Mother’s Day weekend, the girls brought home the championship trophy from the Chico tournament by posting a 3-0 record while dominating the competition. The final tournament of the season took the Pistols to Reno for the Annual Memorial Day weekend tournament. The girls finished in 3rd place with a record of 3-1.

Swim at Bear River

Bear River Recreation & Park District invites you to swim at Bear RIver High School’s pool Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays this summer.

The pool will be available noon to 4 p.m. until August 9th.

It’s $4 for entrance or you can get a 10-swim punch pass for $35.
