Bear River A’s thump GV Cubs

On Wednesday night at Condon park, the Bear River A’s defeated the Grass Valley Cubs 10-0 behind 12 hits.

Nathan Van Patten pitched four solid innings, allowing no runs with four strikeouts, and added an RBI from the plate.



Reid Zolldan came in for the close, giving up no runs in one inning.

He also added two RBIs, with a single, double and a triple in the game.




Damien Christen and Jacob Rivett both added two RBIs, each hitting a single and a double.

The Bear River A’s remain 1½ games behind the league leading Brewers.
