Lady Miners face volleyball’s No. 1

The No. 4 Nevada Union girls volleyball team will face its biggest challenge of the season when it heads down to Mountain View to face top-seeded St. Francis in their CIF NorCal State Championship second round matchup.

St. Francis (28-1) is ranked No. 1 in the state by Cal-Hi Sports and tops in the country by a national prep sports organization.

3We finally get to play St. Francis. This is something we1ve been waiting for for a long time,² said NU sophomore outside hitter Aly Daley.
