HOT SHOTS – Steven Kenny

Steven Kenny turned in a career-high day in the Nevada Union High School weight room last week.

The Nevada Union High School senior inside linebacker set a personal best in the Olympic Clean (a discipline where athletes lift a barbell from the floor to their chest) at 255 pounds.

Kenny, who weighs in at 175 pounds, beat his previous best in the Olympic Clean by 10 pounds.

“We’ve all been going pretty hard in the weight room all summer. But I started working toward this since last December,” he said.
