Hot Shots: Matt Logue

Matt Logue ended his high school football career in style.

Logue, who accepted a football scholarship from the California State University – Sacramento last February, laced ’em up in a pair of the most prestigious all-star high school football games in California.

The Bear River High School standout played in the North-South Shrine game near Los Angeles three weekends ago as well as the 46th Optimist All-Star Football Classic at American River College in Sacramento Friday.

The two-time All Sierra Foothill League performer and 2001 SFL Defensive Player of the Year had a total of 15 tackles, three converted P.A.T’s and a deflected pass in both games.
