HOT SHOTS: Chad Anderson

Chad Anderson sparkled in in Bear River’s season opener against visiting Center of Antelope Friday.

In his varsity debut, the 5-foot, 9-inch junior offensive lineman/linebacker posted a team-high 13 tackles and singlehandedly snuffed a Cougar drive with an interception late in the third quarter.

“Chad just played a great football game, both on offensively and defensively. He’s a guy who’s been very solid in the time we’ve coached him and I was happy to see him have a game like that,” Bruin head coach Scott Savoie said.
