Gymnasts excel at Fall Festival

Gold Country Gymnastics hosted the annual Fall Festival with several strong performances from local youth gymnasts.

In Level 3, Ayla Black had an 8.7 on the vault, an 8.375 on the beam and finished with an all-around 32.225.

In Level 4, Alissa Vandra took third place on the floor with an 8.8, fourth on the beam with an 8.85 and finished with an all-around score of 34.775.



Casey Spoto was fourth on the vault with a 9.2 and finished with an all-around score of 34.575.

Samantha Gobert finished with a 9.375 on the vault, an 8.2 on the bars and finished with an all-around 34.075.




Amira Afshartabar took third on the bars and finished with an all-around 33.775.

Clara Luisetti had an 8.7 on the beam, an 8.475 on the bars and an all-around 33.5.

Hailey Spoto tied for third place on the beam with a 9, and she tallied an 8.6 on the vault and finished with an overall 33.125.

Megan Kiser scored an 8.6 on the vault, 7.9 on the bars and finished with an all-around 31.675.

Katelyn Carter scored a 7.35 on the bars, an 8.15 on the beam and finished with an all-around 29.225.

Madison Wilson rounded things out in Level 4 with an 8.55 on the vault, an 8.55 on the beam and finished with an all-around score of 24.3.

In Level 5, Teal Mathews scored an 8.45 on the vault, an 8.45 on the bars and finished with an all-around 33.4.

Megan Hunt tallied an 8.1 on the vault, a 7.75 on the beam and an all-around score of 28.95.

In Level 6, Kylie Lamb scored an 8.3 on the vault, a 7.125 on the floor and finished with an all-around 29.325.

Bethany Nix locked down an 8.375 on the vault, a 7.5 on the beam and finished with an all-around 27.825.
