Grass Valley man honored by Mazda Motorsports

Stu Fisher, of Grass Valley, was the guest of honor at a dinner where Mazda Motorsports, together with the RACER and SportsCar magazine, celebrated 50 years of the Sports Car Club of America Runoffs winners in the premier amateur motorsports event in the world. Fisher, who won Mazda Motorsports’ very first SCCA National Championship back in 1977 in an RX-3, was acknowledged for his accomplishment and received a standing ovation from the nearly 400 Mazda racers, crew and families in attendance at the Elk Hart Lake event in Wisconsin.
