Gold Country Ultimate Frisbee League back for second season

The Gold Country Ultimate Frisbee League will be hosting it second annual summer league beginning June 10 and will run Monday evenings from 6-8 p.m. on the Sierra College Rotary Fields.

This is a co-ed league and all members from the community are invited to play. Instruction on the rules of the game is provided, and it is a great way to learn a new sport.

Ultimate frisbee is a sport where you can be the quarterback and the receiver in every in every game.



Interested players can register at http://www.goldcountryultimate.com or call Bill at 530-520-8818. The league is $35, and includes seven games, a frisbee, a barbecue, and a great aerobic story to share with friends.

Practice times are 4 p.m. Sundays at DeVere Mautino Park.
