Falcons soar past Delta

The Forest Lake Christian boys soccer team is steam rolling through the Central Valley California League, beating Delta Friday, 4-0, and improving to 11-4-1 overall and 5-0 in league.

FLC senior Logan Ray netted a hat trick, scoring three goals to lead the Falcon charge. Roman Makovey scored FLC’s other goal. Scott Gauthier had two assists, and Garrett Jones along with Hunter Semen each had one assist.

Tending the FLC net was Tyler Young, who saved 22 shots. Aiding in the shutout was the defense of Sean Kadera with 15 steals, Daniel Cuneo with 17 steals and Jason Foster with nine steals.



The Falcons will take the pitch again Tuesday when they face Sacramento Waldorf.
