COMMUNITY GOLF: Kicking things off right

Nevada County Country Club held their annual KickOff Tournament last Saturday.

Golfers enjoyed the sunshine and a chance to get back out on the course after a long, wet winter. 

In the men’s first flight, Dylan Murty took the top spot with a net 63. Dan Triano placed second with a net 67, followed by Evan McClain and Scott Spindler (net 69s) and Rob Barker, net 70.

In the men’s second flight, Mike Argento grabbed first with his own net 63, followed by Jay Snyder (67), Mike Railey (69), John Odom and Jim Shirley (net 70s).

Delores Spindler took top honors in the women’s flight with a net 75, followed by Mary Deardorff and Chris Brown with net 82s. Closest to the Pin Contests were won by Barker, Gunther Brauner and Spindler.
