Sixty-four members and guests participated in the Alta Sierra Women’s Golf Club Invitational and traveled “Around the World in 18 Holes” during the May 23-24 tournament.

The overall winning team was Alta Sierra members Jodi Gillespie and Joan Dickerson and their guests Terry Rooney and Carol Cunningham from Lake of the Pines.

A packed itinerary was in store for the women as they embarked on their journey. Flags of the world adorned the golf course serving as tee markers. Numerous contests and games tested the abilities of each group as they journeyed around the course getting their passports stamped along the way.

Janet Barnes and Julie Harris were “tour guides,” planning this tournament along with the help of many committees, volunteers and the Alta Sierra staff. Judy Wilde was thanked by all for her decorations.
