Bruins take third in PVL golf meet

Bear River girls golf finished third in the team’s first Pioneer Valley league match Monday at Bartley Cavanaugh Golf Course in Sacramento.

The Lady Bruins racked up 514 points, while Placer won with 468 points. Lincoln golfers notched a second place finish with 488 and Center finished fourth with 531.

Emilie Yonan led the Lady Bruins with an 89. Yonan was followed by Liz Runne (103), Grace Magni (103), Carley Corippo (109) and Casey Brown (110).
