Here’s a look at how some college athletes with local ties fared last week:


Kylee Keroher (Bear River, ’98); Regis University (Denver) – The senior guard finished with 15 points, four rebounds and four assists in a 74-59 win over Chadron (Neb.) State Feb. 15.

Rexanne Simpton (Nevada Union, ’98); Chico State – The senior guard totaled five points, three assists, three steals and a rebound in a 66-62 win over Cal-Poly Pomona Feb. 15.

Tami Swanson-Cades (NU, ’99); Cal Poly-Pomona – The junior guard tallied team-highs in rebounds (9) and assists (8) to go along with four points, a steal and a blocked shot in a 66-62 loss to Chico State Feb. 15.

Briana Thomas (BR, ’02); Air Force – The freshman forward finished with two points, two blocked shots and team-high nine rebounds in a 71-40 loss to New Mexico Feb. 15.


Lindsey Roark (BR, ’00); UC-Davis – The junior shortstop went 0-3 with a a pair of putouts and three assists in a 4-3 win over Chico State Feb. 14.

Braeden Huusfeldt (Forest Lake Christian, ’02); The Master’s College (Santa Clarita, Calif.) – The freshman catcher weNt 0-2 with a RBI and eight putouts in a 8-0 win over Pomona Pitzer Feb. 15.
