Amber Tippett, left, and Suzanne Hartley ride in the 26th Annual Agony Bike Ride for Christian Encounter Ministries on Retrac Way in Grass Valley. There were 82 riders from California and Oregon which participated in the 24-hour endurance event, covering a total of 16,448 miles. Mike Petrillo, CEM Director, announced at the conclusion of the event that pledges for the residential program totaled approximately $115,000 with Grass Valley’s Caryn Galeckas leading with $11,000 in pledges.
