Jo Menary of Nevada City is the 2004 Women’s Club Champion for the Nevada County Country Club. She is a third-year winner of this event.

A 54-hole tournament was played August 10, 12, and 17. Menary came in with a gross score of 264. Runner up was Trudy Crough Phillips, with a gross score of 283. Pat Tintle came in first for low net with a 213.

Flo Tarlton claimed the 9-Hole, 2004 Women’s Club Champion. Runner-up was Marian Slayton.

Alta Sierra CC

Al and Trilby Grahn claimed the overall crown at the 2004 Mr. and Mrs. Club Championship at Alta Sierra Country Club over the weekend.

The Grahns fired a two-day low score of 203 to win the annual tournament, which has been held each year at ASCC since 1966.

According to Alta Sierra pro Jeff Chleboun, the win was the first for the Grahns.
