Joslyn Fillman

Fillman grew up in Nevada County, but had been living in the Bay Area for the last few years. She graduated from Saint Mary’s College of California with a B.A. in English Literature (emphasis in literary and historical studies) in 2017.
Before coming to The Union, Fillman was an editor at the Saint Mary’s literary magazine, riverrun. She has been published in Sierra Writers, Wildwood Literary Review, riverrun, the Spectrum journal, and served as a Nevada Union High School On Campus Reporter for The Union her senior year in 2013.
Roslyn enjoys hiking in and around Nevada County, as well as reading, and loves historical fiction and short stories best. When she’s not at work she’s probably baking, spending time with her family, or napping.
