Don Rogers

Don Rogers has been the publisher since May 2016, moving here after 17 years at The Union’s sister The Vail Daily as editor and publisher.

He began his newspaper career as a reporter at the Feather River Bulletin in Quincy and worked in newsrooms between San Diego and upstate New York over the past three decades. He and his wife, Mary, have two adult children, Rachel and Ben.

Son Ben is the publisher of the Sierra Sun and Incline Village Bonanza at north Lake Tahoe. Daughter Rachel was too smart to go into the news media.
