Youth, parents benefit from thriving library system

Over the past four years, our libraries have flourished with the passage of Measure A. I urge the electorate to again reaffirm commitment to our fine library system by voting yes on Measure C, which continues the one-eighth-of-a-cent sales tax.

Our youth and parents have greatly benefitted these past four years with the doubling of library hours, new libraries in Penn Valley and South County, and many youth reading programs. Libraries allow all children equal access to information (whether in books or the Internet) which is essential for a well-rounded education. Please vote yes on C.
