Your children hate you anyway

What Tonie Pettigrew did was a very hard and difficult place for a parent to be (“Mom’s meth story: baby to ‘monster’,” Feb. 23). You don’t want your children to hate you, but they hate you anyway because of the poison filling their systems and brain.

He may hate you, but he will someday come to his senses with treatment and when we get rid of the predators that feed off of them. These children don’t realize the damage they are doing to their families, only that the drug makes them feel numb to the outside world – the world they create from the addiction.

My son doesn’t give a rats a– how we are doing. All he cares about is the dope he can score and the immature thoughts that he’s OK and we are screwed up. I hear he is now all sunken in and has bones showing in his face, and he spends his time playing games with other dope addicts. He will never realize what he has lost by going back to the devil’s control.

I will pray for Tonie that the light finds her son and saves him, because if not, it will be many years in and out of jails and prisons.
