Young scofflaws

While driving around local Grass Valley, Nevada City and Nevada County roads, I frequently avoid accidents with drivers under 35 years old. Many of them drive over the speed limit, do not stop at stop signs, never put on their turn signals, zip from the fast lane to a freeway off-ramp at the last minute, illegally pass at excessive speeds on two lane roads and throw their trash out on our roads. These scofflaws are more interested in getting there 20 seconds sooner or in talking to their friends on their cell phones than they are in public safety and consideration of their fellow man. These are the people who need to be held accountable. I’d like to see the police cite these people and suspend their licenses after the third moving violation.
