Give me a break! Newspapers like The Union, along with their cousins the Globe and the Enquirer, justify this kind of journalism using the term “the people’s right to know.” No one needs to know this stuff other than the individuals involved.

With a local primary election less than 10 days away, couldn’t the editors of The Union find a better use of some apprentice journalists’ time rather than assigning him to an article like this? I’m sorry for the Yeager’s family problems, but even more sorry for the editors and writers at The Union who spend their time fixated on this type story.
