So John Doo-little retains his seat … go figure!

Even with nationwide rejection of Republican policies and corruption, with Doolittle joined at the hip (pocket) with Bush, Delay, and Abramoff, with his dismal voting record and unethical behavior, he squeaks to victory.

On the other hand, in a district geographically rigged in his favor, it would have taken only 3,600 more voters to nix Doolittle and he’d be out. In the next two years, if we keep the spotlight on him, we should be able to close that gap and get him out of office. That is unless the FBI investigation of Doolittle’s “activities” results in the slammer or his resignation.

During this time folks in our district will hopefully see Democratic leadership in Congress will not “cut and run,” nor over-tax, will move us forward and most importantly will address the corruption and big money lobbyist control in Washington.

The wonderful thing about our system is when the pendulum swings too far in any direction, the people, will move it back toward what is right.

Let’s take a proactive approach, keep the heat on our Representative and duck when the pendulum swings back in the right direction.
