Wildwood project

In your issue of March 21 regarding candidates for the 3rd District Board of Supervisors, there is a glaring error.

On page A10, writer Josh Singer mentioned that the candidates agree that affordable housing is one of the more pressing issues facing the county.

Then Singer wrote, “Lamphier pointed to the latest Lake Wildwood Development as an example of a project that could have been handled better by the county. He said the development needed more deed restrictions and a greater number of smaller, more affordable units.”

This development is not part of Lake Wildwood at all, but is a part of the expanded Wildwood Ridge area. This misstatement gives readers the impression that there will be smaller affordable units in Lake Wildwood, when this is not in the works at this time.
