Why we were gone

Many thanks to the one who missed the members of the Grass Valley Temperance Union in the Mardi Gras Parade. For years we marched, diligently intreating people to give up demon rum and repent before it is too late. Men jeered and ladies applauded our efforts to bring temperance and decency back to our fair cities.

We were unable to march for our cause this past parade. Those few of us not in rehab were at our various AA meetings. Please excuse our absence, and, hopefully, we can pull ourselves together before next year.
