Why attack FONCA?

I am amazed at the time and energy spent in lambasting the Friends of Nevada County Animals. I know each person working in this all volunteer group. Each is dedicated to the health and well-being of the animals with which they work. They do not have to do this rescue work. Where do these cats and kittens come from? They are the byproducts of irresponsible people who allow their cats to reproduce and then leave the kittens at Animal Control. Where do the diseases come from? Not from FONCA. The diseases come from poor nutrition, Animal Control, the general public. Cat distemper has been back on the scene for three years now. There is no rescue group in the country that has not been affected by it. A kitten is healthy in the morning and dead in the evening with no signs of illness. As for botched surgeries, please give me documentation. As for the whining about a no return policy, then do not adopt from FONCA. You signed the paperwork. Did you read it first? Stop complaining and become part of the solution. Become a volunteer and make a difference. Make sure your own pets are altered.
