Who’s really behind state’s money woes

A recent letter said that conservatives “…believe the spread of hate, fear and pessimism is un-American.” If that’s true, why does Bush, our un-elected un-President, use hate, fear, and pessimism as his primary tools to control public opinion and implement his dangerous and destructive policies?

The letter also blamed ex-Governor Davis and all liberals for California’s current fiscal problems. How does this fit with the $9 billion stolen from California by Bush buddies at Enron and other energy companies involved in the faked electrical crisis? What about all the tax money the federal government no longer returns to the state because the Bush tax cuts that benefit only the wealthy and large corporations have bankrupted the country?

Let’s place blame for California’s fiscal problems on all those who are truly responsible. Yes, liberal Democrats have overspent on some programs, but well over half of California’s current deficit is the result of corporate crime on the part of Bush-related energy companies and governmental mismanagement by out-of-control conservatives in the Bush administration, the House, and the Senate.
