Who stands to benefit?

Those of us who are truly citizens for property rights in Nevada County and who truly want to protect your property rights really need to get on the beerwagon with the CRR and PYPR folks to prevent NID from running their proposed pipeline through hundreds of our parcels and along our neighborhood roads. But I doubt that we might expect support from SPI on this one. Like who do you suppose might profit most from clear-cutting all the trees along a 40-foot wide, several-mile-long pipeline route? Certainly not SYRCL, RQC, SBC, the Banner Mountain Homeowners Association, or the U.N. All these years that I’ve been voting I never concerned myself with who was running for the NID board. Shame on me for that. At our last Banner Mountain pipeline committee meeting Nancy Weber was the only NID board member present and very open to hearing our concerns. I, for one, will most definitely join in the campaign to re-elect her and to get two other candidates elected who will truly support our individual and community property rights. For starters we will need to come up with an appropriate name for the group. How about the NOPIMFY Coalition (No Pipeline In My Front Yard)?
