Where’s the money?

In last couple of months there have been two ads sponsored by the Nevada County Contractors Association (NCCA) regarding how much money the contractors have paid to our local governments for traffic fixes. NCCA’s latest ad in The Union, Jan. 20, indicated there has been $3.8 million paid in the last five years for traffic fixes. It would be interesting to hear from our local governments as to what traffic fixes were funded by this large sum of money. For those who drive around our crowded and declining roads, it is hard to believe that $3.8 million has been spent on traffic fixes!
