Where in the world have you been?!

Have you been on a really great vacation lately? Maybe you traveled to an out-of-the-way corner of the world, or found some magic when you took a new look at a location closer to home.

The Union is hoping you’ll tell your neighbors about your vacation in its weekly feature.

The vacations of its readers are featured on the Travel page, which appears in Saturday’s edition.

We want you to tell us – and the rest of the community – about your adventures. We even want to publish a photo or two.

Here’s how you can participate:

Drop us a note and tell us what you’d like to write about. We’re open to first-person articles about any location in the world – from a nearby county to farthest reaches of Asia.

The articles need to be about 1,000 words long; we reserve the right to edit your story for length.

We’d like to run at least one photo from your trip. We also need a photo of your face to use in the logo. In the article, tell us what made your trip special.

Offer any tips you might have about can’t-miss attractions or points of interest. Tell us about any precautions you’d recommend.

Interested? Write a note to George Boardman c/o The Union, 464 Sutton Way, Grass Valley, 95945; call 477-4238; or e-mail georgeb@theunion.com
