Wellness Center offers new classes

Two new classes are being offered by the Wellness Center at Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital to help people deal with the stresses of managing time and money, while placing a higher priority on nurturing a healthier self.

Consultant Terri Bianco will teach both classes.

“Managing Time, Nurturing Self” will be held Wednesday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the conference area of the hospital’s Outpatient Center. The class will go beyond basic time management skills into an overview of the culture and beliefs that internally direct the use of time. Bianco will teach methods of effectively managing time while nurturing a healthier self.

“Alleviating the Angst About Money” will be held Wednesday, June 30, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Outpatient Center. This class will examine the myths surrounding money and will offer opportunities to help participants transform their relationship to money.

Fees for each class are $20.

Preregistration is required. Call 274-6824.

The Wellness Center’s class schedule and other information may be found at the hospital’s Web site, http://www.snmh.org.
