Tomlinson-Prentice

Pattie Ray Tomlinson and Daniel Mack Prentice, both of Grass Valley, were married Dec. 29 at the Wildwood Cultural Center in Mentor, Ohio. The service was conducted by the groom’s father, the Rev. Tom Prentice.

The bride, a graduate of Wadsworth High School in Ohio, is the daughter of William and Patricia Ray of Mentor. She is the controller for Sierra Video Systems.

The groom, a graduate of Maulden High School in Missouri, is the son of Dr. Mary M. Prentice and the Rev. Tom K. Prentice of Little Rock, Ark. He is the owner of Shanti Kites.

The bride wore a gown designed by Diemetrios and carried a spray of orchids.

The maid of honor was the groom’s daughter, Paige Prentice, age 12, of Grass Valley.

The flower girl and ring bearer was Morgan Prentice, 9, of Grass Valley, also a daughter of the groom.

The best man was the bride’s son, Christopher Glass, of Grass Valley.

The ushers were Thomas Prentice, the groom’s brother; Bill Ray, the bride’s brother; and Tom Lee.

Music was provided by harpist Debbie Beck of Cleveland, Ohio.

Approximately 25 guests attended the ceremony and dinner reception.

The reception, including the three-tier Italian torte cake, was decorated with orchids flown in from Hawaii.

The guest book attendant was Judith Wyman of Vermont.

The photographer was Barbara Merritt of Cleveland.

The couple honeymooned in the Bahamas.

They live in Grass Valley.
