Wedding Seddon-Allen

Polly Seddon and Kasey Allen (pictured at right) were married June 15 at the Little Church of the West in Las Vegas.

The couple had been living in New York City the past two years where Seddon was attending Columbia University to obtain a master’s degree in historic preservation. Allen had been working for the New York City Parks Department in their GIS mapping program.

Heading west from New York across highways, small towns, and bumpy dirt roads, the couple and their dog, Otis, explored 9,000 miles of the country in search of an ideal place to settle. Passing through the hills of Tennessee, along the rocky coast of Oregon and past the bright lights of Las Vegas, their journey led them to the Sierra Nevada. They are now living in Grass Valley.

The bride is the daughter of Bruce and Hope Seddon of Westfield, Vt. She is an architectural historian at JRP Historical Consulting in Davis.

The groom is the son of Keoni and Peg Allen of Nevada City. He is working for local consulting firm KBA Geography.

The couple’s families and friends join together to congratulate them and wish them the best in their life together.
