Wedding – Meier-Robinson

Tricia Lynnette Meier and Rodney Edward Robinson, both of Grass Valley, were married Sept. 18 at Lake Shasta. The ceremony was conducted by Richard Miller.

The bride is the daughter of Christine Lee Foss of Redding and Gerald Alan Meier of Woodland. She is a graduate of Cosumnes River College and works for Michael Murphy Architect.

The bridegroom is the son of Valerie Anne Robinson of Grass Valley and Joseph Edward Robinson of Copperopolis. He is a graduate of Salinas High School and works for Bub Enterprises.



The bride wore a sarong and bathing suit with decorative tiara, veil and orchid lei. She carried a bouquet of orchids.

The matron of honor was Sheri Kragel of Sacramento.




The bridesmaid was Kristin Robinson of Roseville.

The flower girl was the bride’s niece, Rachel Kragel, of Sacramento.

The ring bearer was the bride’s son, Mario Gallegos-Meier of Grass Valley, who also served as the groomsman.

The best man was Craig D. Robinson of Salinas.

Approximately 50 guests attended the Hawaiian-themed ceremony and houseboat buffet reception.

Special guests included the groom’s sister and brother-in-law from Doylestown, Ohio.

The photographers were Brad Kragel and Howard Cart.

After the reception, the couple double-skied off into the sunset with the bride’s veil trailing behind.

They live in Grass Valley.
