Wedding: Macdonald-Johnson

Janet Macdonald of Grass Valley and Andrew Johnson of Nevada City were married Sept. 16 at the Nevada County Fairgrounds. The service was conducted by the bride’s cousin and godfather, Edward Scofield IV. Approximately 150 guests attended the ceremony and barbecue reception.

A special poem to the couple was read by Jill Scofield.

The bride, a Nevada Union High School graduate, is the daughter of Glen and Carolyn Macdonald of Grass Valley.

The bridegroom, also an NU graduate, is the son of Jim and Alana Johnson of Nevada City.

The matron of honor was the bride’s sister, Sara Kruschke of Grass Valley.

The flower girls were the bride’s nieces, Samantha Kruschke, age 8, and Elizabeth Kruschke, 5, both of Grass Valley.

The best man was the groom’s brother, Ray Johnson of Grass Valley.

Decorations by Carol Scofield and Pat Hilman.

The couple honeymooned at Lake Tahoe.

They live in Grass Valley.
