Wedding – Didot-Blackmon

Celeste Dawn Didot and Bobby Dean Blackmon, both of Grass Valley, were married June 15 at Biblical Gardens. The ceremony was officiated by Angie Bayne of the Nevada County Clerk’s Office.

The bride, a 1991 Nevada Union High School graduate, is the daughter of Jeffrey and Colleen (Largent) of Grass Valley. She works at Millhous Children’s Services.

The groom is the son of Billy and Judy Blackmon of Visalia. He is a graduate of Redwood High School, and works at Dunlap Industries.



The bride wore a full-length white satin and tulle gown with a pearl-and-sequin encrusted bodice. A jewel-encrusted headpiece with a fingertip tulle veil completed the ensemble. She carried a bouquet of roses, orchids and stephanotis.

The matron of honor was the bride’s sister, Cheyenne Sherman, of Rancho Cordova.




The bridesmaid was Stacey Eberhardt of Grass Valley.

The flower boy was the bride’s nephew, Chase Sherman, of Rancho Cordova.

The best man was Ron Langford of Grass Valley.

The groomsman was Benjamin Blackmon of Grass Valley.

Music was provided by harpist Rachelle Cattaneo of Grass Valley.

Approximately 50 guests attended the ceremony and buffet reception at the home of the bride’s parents in Grass Valley.

Three cakes on separate pedestals were decorated with fresh flowers.

The photographers were Jim Borrelli and Stacey Eberhardt.

The couple honeymooned in Hawaii.

They live in Grass Valley.
